Let me start by saying I love Whataburger. Always have as a Texas boy. Favorite burger? Monterey Melt. But not just any, I like to add bacon and BBQ sauce with the jalapeno ranch. That is absolutely a divinely messy burger. This location though had a slightly rocky start with me. The first few times my wife and I came through they forgot my bacon the first time, then the second two times no BBQ sauce. Not that big of an issue considering I like the burger as it comes as well, and I understand it is a pain in the butt to have someone order that burger. Now I will say they are awesome people and go above and beyond at times for their customers. We left our card at home and they let us drive home and get the card then come back in the lobby to pay and receive our food. Which was awesome and we did overlook a couple mess ups on the order due to the favor they did for us. Thank you
What should have been a glorious ascent into the heavens among a host of valkyrie quickly became condemnation to the frigid abyss to be tormented by ice giants. In my agony I forgot that the Whataburger number 2 does not come with cheese standard and my heart sank as I peered down into what should have been my bag of gold only to see a burger wrapper of white. Only jerks order burgers without cheese, the employees make endless inquiry of me, yet never mentioned the absence of cheese on an otherwise perfect work of art.
I love....LOVE, Whataburger, but when I get my food home, I end up fixing it the way I ordered it myself.
I love Whataburger. However, the Taylor Whataburger has some serious issues. 10 AM Saturday morning, line out the door, one register open. One guy working the register and he is slow. While waiting in line, numerous people come up looking for their food, said they had been waiting over 30 minutes. After I finally ordered I am handed a paper cone cup with a number scribbled on it. Took over 20 minutes before they brought us the wrong order. Turns out our food went somewhere else. Everybody in the dining room started talking to one another. People just started eating whatever was brought out because they didn't want to wait another 20-30 minutes for their food. Never saw a manager anywhere. It was a pretty sad sight, because as I said, I love Whataburger. Won't be back to this one though.
Fast service but not that clean inside
Just like 95% of all fast food restaurants, when you have high school teens working, without any type of strict supervision, your order is almost always going to be wrong.
