Quiet place to sit and watch people playing tennis and use the free Wi-Fi
The ducks are fun to watch. I know they are not supposed to be fed but they seem to expect it. One of them tried to go for my phone so pictures were out.
A truly peaceful area when you need alone time. A place to go when you need to sit by the water. A place to go if you want to go for a walk. You're never alone there. The ducks, geese, squirrels and other little critters are near.
Nice park for kids or to walk the trails. There is a nice playground and several covered picnic tables. There is also a pool with a kids area. Worth a trip if you need a place to let the kids play or just to walk.
What a delightful park! We came across it by accident while riding around photographing wildflowers. We saw an island in a pond covered with egrets (it is a full fledged rookery for Cattle Egrets) and detoured around to the park itself. It is very well tended, with lots of open areas and walkways. There was also a delightful flock of ducks and geese (several varieties). We will definitely be returning - if you are in the area it would be a great spot for a picnic or a walk!
