Tonight It amazed me on the choices of live band which the owner selects. Each visit I enjoy live music on Saturdays.
Visited Taylor Station Bar for the first time yesterday. The bartender was friendly and conversational. There's a limited tap selection but not every bar is a taproom. The beers were affordably priced which was nice and made up for a limited selection. The interior design was unique (train station concept) and very clean. Almost too clean. Wide open spacing which is likely good for live music and adequate dance space.
We've recently moved to Taylor from Austin. I see a lot of potential in Taylor Station Bar. When you come to the bar, please keep an open mind. Taylor is a small town and you're not going to find what you expect from franchised bars in ATX. Instead you'll run across soft spoken nice people making a living.
Tonight's Brazilian music was brilliant! With a glass of wine and meeting up with friends, it was a perfect evening. The atmosphere created by Jicela and Luis makes Taylor Station a very special place. I always feel like family.
